DINAMO RIGA has concluded tryout contracts with 6 players – 1 goalie, 1 defenceman and 4 forwards. All these players will start preparation for the season together with the team, and, depending on their performance, decisions regarding players that will be selected for the conclusion of proper contracts will be made.
Tryout contracts have been concluded with goalie Eriks Vitols and defenseman Artūrs Brikmanis, who played for the HK RĪGA team in the MHL Championship during their previous seasons and participated in games for DINAMO RĪGA in the KHL Championship (Vitols playing 4 games for DINAMO RĪGA team in the previous season).
The most experienced forwards with whom tryout contracts have been concluded are Edgars Kulda, born in 1994, who has spent 3 seasons playing for DINAMO RĪGA, while spending the previous season with the Novokuznetsk METALLURG team in the VHL Championship (55 games, 10+13), as well as Filips Buncis, born in 1997, who spent the previous season with KREFELD PINGUINE club of DEL, the strongest German league (38 games, 3+3). The other two forwards with tryout contracts are athletes, who played for the HK RĪGA team in the MHL championship during previous seasons, and of them have, to a certain extent, played for DINAMO RĪGA as well - they are Jānis Švanenbergs, born in 2001 (spent 36 games with the DINAMO RĪGA team during the previous season, 4+4) and Mikus Mintautišķis, born in 2000.
