DINAMO RĪGA has entered into a contract with the centre forward of the national team of Finland Peter Tiivola, who scored 5 times and had 25 assists in 37 games while playing for the Pori ÄSSÄT team in the regular championship in the 2020/2021 season.
Peter Tiivola (height: 192 cm, weight: 92 kg) was born on 5 September 1993 in the capital of Finland, Helsinki. He commenced his hockey playing career in the Espoo BLUES club system, and, so far, he has only played in his motherland. In the Finnish top league LIIGA (SM LIIGA), he has spent 8 seasons playing for three teams – Espoo BLUES, Rauma LUKKO, and Pori ÄSSÄT, scoring 60 times and having 109 assists in 396 games.
This season, he also made his debut as a part of the national team of Finland in the World Championship in Riga, where he participated in two games (including the game against the national team of Latvia, where he assisted once) and won a silver medal.
